State officials attend Innovation & Startup workshop

Dimapur, March 1: A team of State officials, incubators and start-ups participated in the ‘Building Innovation & Startup Ecosystem for North-East: A Peer-learning Workshop’ organised by the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, in collaboration with NITI Aayog & AIM.
A press release informed that the workshop, held from February 29 to March 1 in Agartala, aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among stakeholders to enhance the innovation and start-up ecosystem in the Northeast region.
The delegation included Lhoushevikho Lhoushe, Asst Director of Industries & Commerce; Dr. Arenla Aier – HRD Consultant at IDAN; Namang T Chang – Export Promotion Consultant at IDAN; Lezo Putsure – Director of Educenter Schools of Business; and Loli Ashevi from YouthNet.
Through active engagement and collaboration with stakeholders from across the Northeast region, the Nagaland team identified areas for collaboration and resource sharing, paving the way for future initiatives to support start-ups in the State, it stated.
Key highlights of the workshop included discussions on building innovation networks and learning from successful incubator models. The Nagaland team had the opportunity to interact with experienced Government officials, State Incubators, and Start-Up representatives.
