Dimapur, February 13: The National Peoples’ Party (NPP), Nagaland unit has lauded its national president Conrad K Sangma for his tireless effort in maintaining a clear stand and taking up the mantle to oppose the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
“As political party belonging to the Northeast we shall always stand by our land and its people against any atrocities that will negatively affect the security and stability of the region,” it said in a release.
The NPP Nagaland unit also congratulated all indigenous people of Northeast and conveyed gratitude to all the organizations and the political parties that have stood against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill tooth and nail.
This is the victory for Northeast and democracy, it said.
The NPP Nagaland said the party wishes to unite all the collective minds together as one and work for greater cause in the near future for the people of Northeast. (Page News Service)
