State NPP condemns

Dimapur, March 31: The National People’s Party, Nagaland unit has expressed shock at the killing of one NPP supporter and inflicting grievous injuries by suspected militants in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on March 29.
In a release, the State NPP condemned this senseless act of abduction and assault meted out to the two workers – Jaley Anna and Kham Nai Abhi – where Anna succumbed to his injuries and Abhi undergoing medical treatment.
The release said the State NPP as a secular democratic political party denounces any form of violence. “Such acts of violence need to be condemned by all rational people and more so by all political parties that believes in working for the welfare of the people.”
The NPP Nagaland Unit conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and at the same time wished a speedy recovery to Kham Nai Abhi who is undergoing medical treatment.
