Dimapur, September 10: Under the directive of Nagaland Olympic Association to explore ways for identification and gathering of Judokas to participate in the forthcoming 2nd North East Olympic Games at Meghalaya and also to form the Nagaland Judo Association, a meeting was held on September 9 and resolved to form an ad hoc committee.
A press release informed that the committee members are Neivikuolie Khatsu, Convener; Dr. Talitemsu Ao, Secretary; Dr Hiabe Zeliang, Akhozo Ringa, and Megolhu Dolie.
“The Ad hoc committee shall chalk out plan to conduct a selection trial of Judokas and arrange preparatory coaching camp for participation in the 2nd North East Olympic Games on priority. They shall also undertake all organisational task for early formation of the State Judo Association in consultation with the Nagaland Olympic Association”, it stated.
