State DGP to review preparedness on preventing bomb blasts


Dimapur, April 22: The Government of Nagaland today said that the bomb blast that took place in Sri Lanka on April 21 needs to be examined in the right perspective as the possibility of such incidents occurring even in Nagaland cannot be ruled out.
According to a letter issued by Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy to DGP Nagaland, which went viral in the social media on Monday, the Chief Secretary has requested DGP Nagaland to have a thorough review of the state’s preparedness on preventing similar incidents in Nagaland.
He also stated that an action plan many be prepared to sensitize the public on preventive measures, which would be discussed in the Security Coordination meeting shortly.
