State COVID-19 tally rises to 10460

Dimapur, November 19: Nagaland on Thursday reported 94 new cases of COVID-19 taking the State’s tally to 10460. But with 9007 recoveries and 54 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 1292.
Out of the 94 new cases, 71 were detected in Dimapur, 12 in Peren, 7 in Kohima, 2 in Mon and one each in Kiphire and Phek. 54 cases detected today are traced contacts, 22 frontline workers, 10 Armed Forces/Police and 4 are returnees/travelers.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1250 are asymptomatic, 19 are mild cases, 14 moderate on oxygen, 3 severe cases on oxygen, 6 in critical condition out of which 4 are without oxygen and 2 on ventilator.
The State also recorded a total of 52 COVID-19 positive patients recovering on Thursday. Of the 52 recovered patients, 32 are in Dimapur, 18 in Kohima and 2 patients recovered in Mon.
Of the total 10460 cases, 4293 cases are from the Armed Forces/Police, Traced Contacts – 3917, Returnees/Travelers – 1751 and Frontline Workers – 499. (Page News Service)
