State Commissioner’s office sealed after COVID-19 case

Kohima, July 7: The Office of the Commissioner, Nagaland has been sealed after a canteen employee in the office was tested COVID-19 positive on Tuesday.
DC Kohima & chairman, District Task Force, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS said the Commissioner’s office has been sealed for 48 hours as per SOP.
According to reports, the woman canteen employee is a resident of the Daklane Sector-3 area here. She had reportedly come in close contact with one of the frontline workers who had recently tested COVID-19 positive.
According to sources, police and authorities have sealed the colony where she resides for containment and contract tracing started by health officials.
The DC informed that relevant line departments as per the Incident Response System (IRS) have been activated, and the containment zone mapped and necessary cordoning of the area/colony in the proximity of the epicenter has been made. (Page News Service)
