Dimapur, September 1: Spokesperson of BJP Nagaland, Samuel Sumi passed away at Dimapur today. He was also the party’s in-charge of Mon District.
State BJP president, Temjen Imna Along has expressed grief at the passing away of Samuel Sumi, saying his absence shall be dearly missed.
“His passing is not only a personal loss to me but to the entire BJP family,” he said.
“A true gem of a gentleman who is well known for his deep wisdom and jolly nature; his absence shall be dearly missed.”
Imna along on behalf of the rank and file of BJP Nagaland conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family; and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Deputy Chief Minister and BLP leader Y. Patton has expressed grief at the demise of Samuel Sumi, former PRO to State BJP President and present State BJP spokesperson at Dimapur on September 1.
“His selfless contributions to the party will always be remembered,” he said.
On behalf of the State BJP legislators, the Dy.CM conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God will comfort them during the hour of grief.
