State BJP president takes charge as NBDA chairman


Dimapur, March 26: State BJP president Visasolie Lhoungu on Monday took over as the new chairman of the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) in a formal function. Peter Lichamo, leader of the NBDA welcomed him to the office on behalf of the agency.
In his short speech the team leader highlighted about the various activities and programmes being undertaken by the agency and stated that the Government has a new structure policy for bamboo mission and that he is hopeful that with the new chairman, many new ventures may be opened and taken up to take the agency further.
Visasolie Lhoungu, the new chairman, said is happy to be working with experienced team leader, officers and staff of the NBDA. “We should have confidence with each other to work together as a team,” he said.
The officers and staff showed him various units and activities being taken by the agency. The new NBDA chairman was accompanied by a number of State BJP and frontal office bearers.
