State BJP delegation calls on Amit Shah

Dimapur, April 24: Nagaland BJP legislators along with the party officials on Tuesday called on National BJP president Amit Shah, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav and Ramlal.
The delegation reminded the Central BJP leaders that they had gone to the people during the election with commitments for more development under the dispensation of BJP led NDA Government at the Centre. They also appealed the central Government to extend their full support to the commitments made by Prime Minister of India and the central leaders to the State.
The delegation also expressed their confidence that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah, the BJP in the State will grow from strength to strength in the days to come.
The delegation also thanks the party leaders for their concerned towards the State development.
Meets union health minister
Nagaland deputy chief minister Y Patton along with his cabinet colleagues and advisors comprising of S Pangnyu Phom Minister, Jacob Zhimomi Minister, Kashiho Sangtam, Minister, Dr Longriniken, Advisor, Tovihoto Ayemi, Advisor and Kazheto
Kinimi, Advisor paid a courtesy call on Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda at his official residence in New Delhi on Tuesday.
During the discussion, Patton appraised the Union Minister on the ongoing State top priority project of medical college in Kohima and requested him to extend all his help towards early completion of the medical college. The delegation also expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for his concern towards the State especially for the rural health sector.
The Central government is seriously committed to improve the health care system in the country, said the Union Minister.
Paiwang calls on Rajnath
Minister for Transport & Civil Aviation, Railways, Land Resources, P Paiwang Konyak met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at his residence in New Delhi today.
In the meeting Paiwang appraised the Union Home Minister on the helicopter service in the State, since demand of chopper service is increasing day by day and the present MHA sanction of 480 hours of flying hours per annum is not enough to cater the needs of the State. He requested the Union Home minister to increase the helicopter service from 480 hours to 1500 hours annually.
The Union Home Minister assured him that he will look into the matter at the earliest possible time and consider the request of the State.
Later Paiwang also paid a courtesy call to the Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation Sushree Uma Bharati at her office residence New Delhi.
