Stage set for Face of Nagaland Season 4

Dimapur, July 28: Stage is set for the finale of Face of Nagaland Season 4 to be held on July 30 in IMC Hall, Dimapur. Nagaland minister for Geology & Mining and Soil and Water Conservation, V Kashiho Sangtam will grace the occasion as special guest along with his wife while reigning Miss North East Diva, Anindita Kakoti will make a special appearance besides being one of the juries for the event.
The mega event which is being organised by Nova Stellam (meaning new star) will have on stage 24 young boys and girls selected from all over the state who will vie to become winners of Season 4. The contestants will also walk away with various sub-title awards.
The event aimed at providing a platform for talented youngsters of the state will feature various local artists on the stage.
The event is being sponsored by the department of Art and Culture, Nagaland and is being supported by department of Soil and Water Conservation, Nagaland, Nagaland State AIDS Control Society, Land Resources, Dimapur and Dimapur Forest Range.
The event is also giving emphasis on promotion of art and culture, creating awareness on the need for conserving our environment, awareness on HIV/AIDS, career guidance, spiritual nourishment and personal hygiene.
As part of awareness program, Soil and Water Conservation department led by its Joint Director, Shri K. Khekiho Shohe conducted an awareness program for the participants on Friday while Shri Temsuyanger Aier and Orenthung Nguille of District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit, Dimapur conducted a program on HIV/AIDS on Saturday.
Besides other daylong activities on Monday, Shri I. Acato Chishi, District Program Officer, Land Resources, Dimapur will facilitate the participants on career guidance followed by a session on oral hygiene by Dr. Meyisen Angh.
Chow Poran Gogoi, a renowned choreographer of Northeast region will choreograph the finale. (Page News Service)
