St Joseph’s College wins CoMFIESTA title

Dimapur, October 24: St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama clinched the winning title during the 6th CoMFIESTA, an inter-institutional commerce & management fest, organised by the Department of Commerce & Management, Tetso College, which ended on October 23.


The two-day event saw participation from more than 250 students from 12 institutes, namely SD Jain Girls’ College, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama, C-Edge College, City College of Arts and Commerce, Pranabananda Women’s College, Dimapur Government College, Mt. Mary College, Lumding College (Assam), Unity College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi Public School, Carmel Higher Secondary School, Christian Higher Secondary School, and Tetso College.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Hewasa L Khing, Principal of Tetso College.
The keynote address was delivered by Prof. A. K. Mishra, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University.
Mishra expressed how colleges and disciplines such as commerce and management should now place more emphasis on skill and entrepreneurship development, creation of world class business leaders who are able to create sustainable businesses.
In the events category, Sushant Jain and Sakshi Jain (Delhi Public School, Dimapur) were the winners of Contrakeenos while Renuka Debnath and Bikee Dutta (Unity College, Dimapur) bagged second.
In Food Crafting, Sotile Magh (St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama) was declared the winner and in AD-Selfie, Lipokyanger (St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama) won first position.
In CoMFIESTA’s Got Talent, Ujala Dey (Pranabananda Women’s College) was the winner while the runners-up were Sriti Dey and Nandini Dey (SD Jain Girls’ College).
In I Can Speak, Vanshika Singharia Agarwal (Delhi Public School, Dimapur) was adjudged the winner while Ankita Bhadra (Lumding College, Assam) bagged the second position.


In Vid’Gyapan, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama were the winners while Tetso College were the runners-up.
