Dimapur, May 25: A total of 378 stranded citizens of Nagaland reached Dimapur from Gurugram, Haryana on May 25 at around 10 am.
APC and Dimapur in-charge for COVID related activities, Y Kikheto Sema IAS, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Anoop Khinchi IAS, Commissioner of Police, Rothihu Tetseo IPS and CMO Dimapur Dr, Tiasunep received the returnees at railway station Dimapur.
Among the returnees, 288 were from Dimapur, Mon and Peren District. From amongst them 146 were male and 142 were female.
On arrival they were taken to Agri Expo Dimapur ferried in 16 buses and after going through all the laid down procedures, the returnees were send to quarantine centers.
Ninety returnees from other districts were transported to Kohima in 4 buses.
Food packets and bottle of water was handed over to the returnees proceeding to Kohima. (Page News Service)
