Dimapur, August 20: Spicejet has conducted a Cabin Crew recruitment drive at Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd, Dimapur, Nagaland today.
Akshat Gupta, Hazel Phillipes & Akriti Vaid conducted the interviews on behalf of Spicejet. Total 13 students were selected.
The selected students are Vilika Shohe, Meriyani Odyuo, Silpi Khakhlar, Lika S. Sumi, Vaknu Thokdar, Haiyale Apon Rengma, Rosy, L. Asheli Yepthomi, Eteisile Zeliang, Anongla Chipur, Vinivi V. Achumi, Akumjungla, and Tejongonuo Chaya.
The selected students would be leaving for Delhi to join the company shortly. The selected candidates will be earning salaries ranging between Rs 60,000 to 70,000 per month depending on their flying hours.
Officials from the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship attended the event and gave moral boost to all the students.
Meanwhile, 220 trainees are currently undergoing free of cost government sponsored aviation and hospitality training under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY) at Emporium Skill Training Centre, Dimapur which is located in Half Nagarjan Main Road near Govt Higher Secondary School Junction. The training is sponsored by the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Kohima, Nagaland. The duration of training is 3 months.
More campus interviews are coming up with leading brands like IndiGo, Go Air, Jet Airways, Hyatt Regency, Andaz, Grand Hyatt, J W Marriott, ITC, Taj, The Oberoi Dubai, Accor Hotels, The Oberoi Ajman – United Arab Emirates. All the students will be placed within 3 months of training.
Emporium Training Centre will be training 220 candidates from Nagaland every 3 months free of cost under PMKVY scheme. Students who are enrolled with Emporium Skill Training Centre will now get the opportunity to get free of cost training for airhostess/cabin crew, hotel and cruise line management.
