Slum development project inaugurated at Kezocha

Dimapur, March 17: A programme for inauguration of Integrated Housing & Slum Development Project was held at Kezocha Town, Kohima on March 17 with Advisor, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire as the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kire called upon the Kezocha range people to extend their cooperation and support to the Government, irrespective of their party affiliation, to ensure that there is development and tranquility in the State.
A short speech on behalf of the community was given by Kedusül.
Additional Chief Engineer, Urban Engineering Wing, Er. Kevide Nakhro presented a brief technical report on construction of dwelling units and community hall. He said the project cost was Rs. 498.92 lakh where funding pattern was on 90/10 Central and State share.
Short speech was also given by Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, Er. Zale Neikha while Director, Urban Development, S. Takatuba Aier chaired the function. The programme was also attended by Advisor Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor Sukhalu and MLA, K. Nakhro.
