Dimapur, October 16: The Sendenyu Lojvü Students’ Union (SLSU) held its 43rd general conference-cum-felicitation programme for HSLC & HSSLC successful candidates on October 16 at Sendenyu Village Council panchayat hall.


The programme commenced with the unveiling of monolith by KegwayhunTep, NSF President, who also graced the occasion as special guest.
Prof. G Thomas Thong, HoD of Geology at Nagaland University, exhorted the gathering with words of encouragement.
Speaking on the occasion, the special guest encouraged the students to work hard and have commitment.
He also stressed on the need for the village student body and the villagers to work together collectively alongside the educational institutions and to further monitor the responsibility of teachers in order to uplift the quality of education.
Heiko Kent, President of Rengma Students’ Union, also shared his concerns and encouragement for the students’ community present.
Altogether 38 successful candidates in the HSLC & HSSLC Examination 2021 were felicitated by the Education Secretary SLSU, Kesholo Thong. (Page News Service)
