The smoke from burning the saw dust
Keeping away the mosquitoes,
The drizzles into our open varandah
Moisting my borrowed A4 size papers,
A temporary home
A random work table
A banana or an unsweetened tea?
But never a perfect muse
While the rain lashes on …
I have found my peace,
In the midst of insect bites
Somewhere not home-sweet-home
Beside the newest graveyard of a dear uncle,
In the littlest of diction that flows
Within my heart, showers of blessing
For I have found the peace
That comes from above and within.
