Shatrughan Sinha recently came out in support of Kangana Ranaut who has been calling out industry biggies over their monopoly in Bollywood. Now, the veteran actor has lent his support to filmmaker Karan Johar. Talking about the same to a news portal, Shatrughan Sinha reportedly said that he has worked with Karan’s father Yash Johar and believes Karan made a name for himself through hard work. He has worked to get where he is. According to the actor, being born in a film family doesn’t automatically qualify you for success. Likewise, being an outsider doesn’t disqualify you from stardom. And he felt that Sushant was a very successful star.
Earlier, he supported Kangana by stating that most who speak against Kangana are jealous of her. According to him, without anyone’s mercy, will, or even without joining any groups Kangana has gone too far and achieved so much. The veteran actor felt that they are irritated and jealous of her success and bravery.
Following the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, fans across the nation protested against celebrities like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan for promoting nepotism and denying opportunities to talented actors.
Karan Johar had since then limited his social media posts and has been away from it ever since.
