Dimapur, May 30: Three persons were arrested recently with banned items in separate occasions by Mokokchung police.
On May 22, Lipokakum T Ao, a resident of Khermahal in Dimapur, was arrested by Mokokchung police personnel for possessing of suspected brown sugar (approx. 27gm). In this connection, a case was registered at Mokokchung Police Station-I.
Another person was arrested on May 26, during a surprise check at Mokokchung-Tuensang Road. Police recovered 2 soap cases containing suspected brown sugar (approx. 25.68 gm) from the possession of Ronglila (36). Case has been registered at Mokokchung Police Station-II.
Again on May 27, Mokokchung police personnel intercepted a truck near Alichen and recovered 15 cases of MC Rum and 3 cases of beer. Accordingly, the driver of the vehicle, Babu Mudi, a resident of Golaghat, Assam was arrested. In this connection, a case was registered at Mokokchung Police Station-II.
