Sensitization on Covid-19 vaccination held at Zunheboto

Dimapur, February 13: Awareness and sensitization on Covid-19 vaccination for frontline workers of Zunheboto district for 8th NAP B Coy was conducted on February 12.
Dr. Nukshisangla Jamir DPO (RCH/UIP), Zunheboto appealed to all the participants to come forward and get vaccinated and not miss the opportunity, she further encouraged all the participants to get vaccinated and not to believe in the misconceptions about the vaccine from the social media.
She also gave detailed explanation on the Covishield vaccine and how the doses are administered. She appealed to all the participants to get vaccinated in order to stay safe and to protect oneself, family and neighbours, citing that frontline workers are in the high risk exposure.
Dr. Nukshisangla Jamir DPO (RCH/UIP), also gave a detailed report on the number of healthcare workers in Nagaland who have been vaccinated for the first dose so far, and the number of healthcare workers vaccinated in Zunheboto as well.
Tongpang, Asstt. Commandant, 8th NAP, B Coy, Zunheboto gave welcome address during the awareness and sensitisation programme.
The workshop was followed by interaction and discussion with the Resource Person and the participants. (Page News Service)
