DIMAPUR, JANUARY 18: A ten-day seminar on Senior Citizens Helpline was conducted by the Good Samaritan Women Society, in collaboration with the State Government and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, at Meriema in Kohima from January 5-16.
The training was conducted by consultants from NHSC (National Helpline for Senior Citizens) and NISD (National Institute of Social Defence) Delhi.
The training concluded with a function held at the Old Age Home, Meriema which was graced by Medoselhou Keretsu (Secretary) and K Seyie (Treasurer) from the Senior Citizens Association, Nagaland.
The resource persons included Arjun Ganta, Kishore Kumar, Anand KM, Shanti Vemuri, Sunjib Rana, Viphreno Nakhro, Satahi Shijoh and Jyothi.
