SE Dept informs on online education portal

Dimapur, August 8: Principal Director, School Education Shanavas C, IAS has issued directives to District Education Officers, Sr. Sub Divisional Educational Officers, Sub Divisional Educational Officers and Head of Institutions of all Government schools (GPS/GMS/GHS/GHSS) functioning in the State of Nagaland for strict compliance with immediate effect.
The PD directed head of institutions of all Government schools to visit the Online Education Portal of the Department of School Education ‘’ and register at the link ‘School Login’. After completion of registration, School heads have been asked to login into their School Accounts and enter details asked under the ‘School Data’ Section and submit. Care should be taken to provide accurate information. Submitted data can be edited only with the approval of the department.
With effect from August 13, all school heads shall login into their School Accounts every day and submit the details asked under the ‘Daily Report’ section before 3 pm.
All DEOs/Sr. SDEOs/SDEOs will be provided User IDs and passwords to view the daily reports being submitted by schools under their jurisdiction. They shall share the same with the respective jurisdictional Field Officers and ensure that the ‘Daily Reports’ submitted by schools are monitored and appropriate follow up actions initiated on daily basis.
The PD warned that accountability will be fixed at each level and negligence/non-adherence to the above directives will be viewed seriously and appropriate disciplinary action shall be initiated against the erring officials.
