Schools receive fund for SPC implementation

Dimapur, May 19: Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Anoop Khinchi IAS who is also the chairman of Kohima District Level Steering Committee (DLSC) for implementation of student police cadet (SPC) programme today handed over cheque of Rs 50,000 to selected schools of the district in his office chamber on May 17.
The selected schools from Kohima district included Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire Government Higher Secondary School, Seikhazou and Regimental School, Thizama. The headmaster/principal of the selected schools received the cheque from the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.
As per the Ministry Home Affairs guidelines, the utilization break up of the released amount is as follows: Rs. 16,000 for teaching aids; Rs. 24,000 for outdoor activities, Rs. 5000 for training and Rs. 5000 for contingency.
The headmaster/principal of the recipient schools thanked the DLSC led by DC Kohima for selecting their schools to implement the programme in the district. (Page News Service)
