Nagaland News

Dimapur, July 1: The Directorate of School Education has ordered individuals/societies/organisations running private schools, including pre-primary schools, without permission from the Department of School Education, Nagaland, to close down their schools immediately.

A DIPR bulletin on Thursday stated that a one-time opportunity has been given to all individuals/societies/organizations running pre-primary schools without the permission of the Department to apply for permission in the prescribed format made available at https://education.nagaland.gov.in within 15 days from the date of issue of the notification.
“No application will be accepted for granting of ex post facto permission to pre-primary schools after the expiry of the grace period,” it informed.
Further, the Department informed that the one-time measure is applicable only to pre-primary schools and stringent punitive measures will be initiated against those running other levels of schools without prior permission. (Page News Service)
