Kohima, July 18: The Under-15 girls team SC Nagaland today ended its journey of from the ongoing Gothia Cup, an international football cup at Gottenburg at Sweden.
Playing the knock out round of 32, SC Nagaland went down against Halvikens SK 3-4 via tie breaker as the match ended in a goalless draw during the stipulated time.
Out of the three matches played in the group league, SC Nagaland drew Ahus IF while it lost against Vasteras BK30 by 3-0 and faced a drub of 14-0 against Swedish Team IF Brommapojkar.
The 21-member squad comprising of 14 U-15 girls team and seven officials is led by Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, MLA Zale Neikha.
The four member U-15 girls team include Imlimerenla, Chimmushe, Diethoseiu Zhale, Vipeni Kesuh, Hupolu Hesuh, Mhaselu Swuro, Medokhono Nakhro, Kevisenuo Krabvu, Nirmala Rai, Abeno Humtsoe, Dziesekonuo, Ahenu Kikhi, Keni Kent and Neke Konyak. (Page News Service)
