SBI Sanjeevani mobile medical van renders service in rural areas

Dimapur, November 21: Four months after the SBI Sanjeevani – Mobile Medical Van was launched and flagged off for rural areas of Dimapur on July 1 last, the Mobile Medical Van has till November 17 conducted 34 medical camps for 45 villages with over 950 patients treated. They were provided with free medical checkup and free medicines.


SBI Sanjeevani – Mobile Medical Van is a SBI Gram Seva Programme implemented by AIDA. The objective under SBI Sanjeevani health camp is to provide door-step health services to rural communities & early detection of serious illnesses.
The Mobile Medical Van was introduced in convergence with District Health Authorities /Health Department and Health Centre to provide staff and support for the Mobile Medical Van during the course of project implementation. The first SBI Sanjeevani health camp was started on 12th July, 2021 at Khriezephe village and continues in other adopted villages of Gram sevaprogramme as well as non- adopted rural villages of Dimapur and neighboring Assam, informed an AIDA release.
The release said the project will be visiting more rural villages for medical camps in days to come. (Page News Service)
