DIMAPUR, MARCH 16: The Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) has called for a total bandh in its jurisdiction from March 21 to 23 to protest against what it stated was the Manipur Government’s failure to withdraw its security forces from the disputed area of Kezoltsa.
A press release on Wednesday stated that on November 20 last year, various organisations had submitted a joint representation to the Chief Minister of Manipur.
“However, till date, Manipur Government has totally ignored and failed to honour and address the issue”, it stated.
The organisation warned of ‘harsher action’ of the Manipur Government does not withdraw the security forces “from the disputed area within this period”.
