Officials says test not done yet

Dimapur, June 28: A report of a taxi driver testing Covid-19 positive in Dimapur has been doing round on the social media, which has been dismissed by the authorities as false. The news triggered panic in the area, where the said taxi driver resides.
However, officials from COVID Hospital dismissed it as rumour and said that the taxi driver has been kept in a government observation centre as precautionary measure as he had transported some returnees to Mokokchung. A lady among the returnees had tested reportedly tested positive on Sunday.
As precautionary measures, the taxi driver and his family have been isolated, the official said
An official from the health department confirmed that his test is yet to be done.
The driver has not been tested yet, so how come he is positive, Dr Imtiwapang of COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur told Nagaland Page.
In related to this case, a picture of certain area declared as containment area was also in circulation, probably the residence of the said taxi driver.
