Nagaland News

Dimapur, September 1: The Rising People’s Party (RPP) has condemned August 30 incident in Tarn Taran District of Punjab in which a Church was vandalized and the pastor’s car set on fire by communal elements, and called upon the AAP Government in Punjab to leave no stone unturned to arrest and expose the conspirators.
“Such provocations, whether politically motivated or otherwise, is condemnable and it’s hoped that the AAP government with leave no stone unturned to arrest and expose the conspirators,” said the RPP in a letter to Punjab Chief Minister/
Expressing gratitude to Punjab CM for his prompt condemnation and swift assurance that nobody will be allowed to disturb the harmonious brotherhood of Punjab, the RPP, however, said “it is impossible to evade the conclusion that this mischievous act is a conspiracy to malign your popular government”.
“At a crucial juncture when intolerance and Christian bashing has become the order of the day thanks to majoritarian politics, the RPP is hopeful that the AAP will continue to be in the forefront defending Christians and minorities in the country,” it added. (Page News Service)
