Rotary Int’l Dist Governor visits Rotary Club Dimapur

Dimapur, October 14: Rotary International District 3240 Governor Dr. Debashish Das paid his official club visit to Rotary Club of Dimapur, accompanied by his 1st Lady Dr. Charis and Asst. Governor Sanjay Jain who was welcomed by President Ashok Agarwal on behalf of the club.
In a day long function, he laid the Foundation Stone for adopting the Govt. Primary School Eralibill, Dimapur for converting into a Happy school that shall provides better amenities such as Toilet block, Safe Drinking water, provide sports equipments and repairing the school for the students of the school, dedicated the Rotary Multi – Service centre at Tragopan Jn. constructed by Rotary Club of Dimapur and which provides the facilities of Safe drinking water, ashroom and a restroom to the people of the town with showcasing of Rotary focus areas of service as part of celebrating 100 years of Rotary in India.
He also inaugurated Safe Drinking water point at Midland Colony, Dimapur built by the club for the residents. These all are the pilot projects of the Rotary Club Dimapur under Water and Sanitation programs & Hygiene – which has been the basic needs of the community.
After a series of meeting and being briefed of the various activities that the club has been doing with the assessment of community needs, he applauded the club members for doing remarkable projects for the people of Dimapur. He further appreciated the club members and the vibrant team led by President Ashok Agarwal and Secretary Avijith Chowdhury.
