Dimapur, March 18: Commissioner & Returning Officer Nagaland, Motsuthung Patton notified that the election is to be held for 1-Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency Election for which the nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or by any of his/her proposer(s) to the Commissioner & RO Nagaland, M. Patton or to ADC (HQ) & ARO, Limanenla on the first floor at the Conference hall of the Commissioner Office, Nagaland between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on any working day on or before March 25.
Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the same place and time aforesaid and scrutiny of nomination papers will begin at the same place on March 26 at 11 a.m.
Notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered to the above mentioned officers either by a candidate or any of his/her proposer(s) or by election agent who has been authorized in writing by the candidate before 3 p.m. on March 28.
In the event of election being contested, the poll will be taken on April 11 between the hours 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
RO, Aonglenden informs on bye-election
In view of the forthcoming Bye-Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 26- Aonglenden Assembly constituency, the nomination papers may be obtained by a candidate/proposer (S) from the Returning Officer, 26- Aonglenden Assembly constituency, Abhinav Shivam IAS or Assistant Returning Officer, Khiuzam Kaurinta at DCs office Mokokchung.
The nomination Papers is to be submitted by a candidate or by any of his proposers to the aforesaid officers and office between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on any working day not later than March 25. Scrutiny of Nomination Papers will be done at the ADC (Planning) Conference Hall, Mokokchung on March 26 at 11 a.m. Withdrawal of candidature may be submitted by a candidate or by any of his proposers/Election Agent authorized in writing by the candidate to the aforesaid officers and office before 3 p.m. on March 28.
In the event of the Election being conducted, the poll will be taken on April 11 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (Page News Service)
