Dimapur, February 21: Interlocutor for Naga peace talks, RN Ravi will hold consultative meeting with political parties, State officials, civil societies and Naga political groups on February 26 & 27 at Kohima and Dimapur respectively.
A circular from the State Home Department informed that a consultative meeting with RN Ravi, Deputy NSA & GoI interlocutor for Naga talks has been convened on February 26 at 5 pm at Hotel Vivor, Kohima and on February 27 from 1 pm at Rhododendron Hall, Central Police Officers Mess, Chumukedima, Dimapur.
The circular informed that while invitations have gone to a few civil societies, if there are any others who want to meet RN Ravi they can submit the details of their organization and contact Special Secretary (Home) at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com latest by February 23. The additional list of civil societies/NGOs who will be given time to speak will be finalized by the Government.
Further all civil societies president have been requested to attend the meeting on February 26 at 5 pm at Hotel Vivor, Kohima and president, all tribal hohos along with representatives to attend the meeting on February 26 at 2:30 pm at Hotel Vivor, Kohima.
Meanwhile Commissioner & Secretary, NLA, N. Benjamin Newmai has informed that Speaker-in-charge and chairman of Joint Legislators’ Forum (JLF) on Naga political issue, Zhaleo Rio has convened a consultative meeting of the JLF including both Members of Parliament from Nagaland with NSCN/ GPRN on February 27 at Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Chumoukedima at 3 pm.
