Dimapur, May 14: Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has mourned the death of Neisatuo Keditsu, who has passed away in Dimapur on May 13.
In a message issued on Friday, Rio stated that Neisatuo was a prominent citizen of Dimapur widely respected for his pioneering efforts towards growth of the city.
His legacy will be remembered by future generations in a positive and inspirational manner, the chief minister stated.
“Late Keditsu and his family have been closely associated with our family and we have shared close bonds for the past several years. It is indeed a moment of sadness for all of us but we draw satisfaction from the fact that he will be remembered for having lived a meaningful life,” Rio said.
The chief minister extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
In a separate message, the Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur conveyed condolences to the family members of Neisatuo Keditsu.
“The union fondly remembers the contributions and sacrifices made by our late father to the Tenyimi student community and to the society. It is a sad day for us all and in his passing we have lost a great leader, who was always ready to assist us,” it stated. (Page News Service)
