Dimapur, January 17: The Nagaland Hotels & Restaurant Association (NHRA) has appealed to the NSCN GPRN UT-1 to review the directive to close all shops on Sunday, especially hotels and restaurants.
In a press release, NHRA said the total closure on hotels and restaurants on Sunday greatly affect tourists and travellers going in and out of Dimapur.
“Dimapur being the gateway of Nagaland and the only booming city it is unfortunate that such a ban is imposed. Beside travellers even the city dwellers both Nagas and non Nagas of the city have no other recreational avenue and outing with families to hotels and restaurants have even been curtailed by this ban,” it said. The NHRA requested the CAO NSCN/GPRN to review the ban in the interest of public. (Page News Service)
