DIMAPUR, JULY 10: The Northeast Frontier Railway has proposed to resume stoppage of long distance trains at Dimapur Railway Station with effect from July 17 next.
The NF Railways said that the state Government of Nagaland has agreed to allow stoppages of long distance trains at Dimapur from July 17. However, it also mentioned that as laid down in SOP, all in-bound passengers disembarking at Dimapur Railway Station should be asymptomatic, and they would be required to produce certificate of having complete their COVID-19 vaccination (both doses taken).
The Railways has also withdrawn restriction of parcel booking in trains including demand VP from/to Dimapur.
