
Dimapur, May 28: Out of a total of 1702 suspected COVID-19 samples sent for testing from Nagaland so far, 18 have been tested positive while results of 426 samples are awaited.
Through the Truenat testing machines so far, a total of 63 samples have been tested, out of which 59 are negative and results of 4 samples are awaited.
This was informed by Principal Home Secretary Abhijit Sinha IAS.
Sinha informed that a special train from Jaipur, which moved out on May 26 with 250 stranded persons from Nagaland is expected to reach Lumding, Assam on May 29 at 5 am. The passengers thereafter shall be ferried to Nagaland by buses.
A total of 12,677 citizens have signed up in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland – Visitors App since 23rd March 2020 and in the last 14 days 2492 persons have submitted their travel self-declaration. At present 2120 persons are being digitally monitored through the App. (Page News Service)
