Research Scholars of NU Geology Deptt win debate competition

Dimapur, July 27: A 3-member team of Hievinu Olivia Richa, Vilavonuo Keditsu, and Akhrulu Vero, Research Scholars of the Department of Geology, Nagaland University, participated in a debate competition organised by the Duliajan Chapter of the ‘Association of Petroleum Geologists’ on July 21, at the Head Quarters of the Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam.
The topic of the debate was “Application of geosciences for sustainable growth is utopian dream for country like India”. The competition was won by the Nagaland University team who defeated one team each from the Mizoram University, Gauhati University, and Assam University and two teams from the Dibrugarh University.
The faculty, staff, research scholars, and students of the Department of Geology has congratulated the team for their outstanding achievement and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
