Dimapur, January 27: Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur observed the 75th Republic Day celebration at its school premises on January 26. Tri-Colour was hoisted by Swami Barunanandaji Maharaj, Swami Arindamanandaji Maharaj, Swami Parasanandaji Maharaj & Monoj Bhattacharjee, Principal, PVHSS, Dimapur, group song presented by the teachers of the vidyapith, short speech delivered by Swami Parasanandaji Maharaj. Master Pritam Debnath Cl-11, Arts, emulated that mother Sita is respected everywhere, women in our nation since time immemorial revered as a ‘Mother’. Monoj Bhattacharjee, Principal, PVHSS, Dimapur spoke on the emancipation of women in all the form of life, being a teacher one has to sacrifice for nation building. The Global Open University (Nagaland) commemorated the 75th Republic Day of India with a solemn ceremony held at its campus. Dr. HN Dutta, Vice Chancellor of the university, led the flag hoisting ceremony and delivered a poignant address underscoring the significance of this historic day.
In his remarks, Dr. Dutta emphasized the importance of Republic Day as a tribute to the adoption of the Indian Constitution, highlighting its enduring values of democracy, liberty, and justice.
Additionally, Dr. Roopam Bachhil, Registrar of The Global Open University (Nagaland), elucidated on the integral role of discipline in shaping the framework of our Constitution.
Dr. Bachhil’s insightful discourse shed light on the disciplined efforts that were instrumental in crafting the foundational principles of our democratic nation.
LFI College:
The 75th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Livingstone Flundation International College amidst the foggy morning of January 26 with students, teachers and other staff members being present at the college premises. Akhumse A. Sangtam (NSS President) chaired the programme. Achilo Kikon (IQAC convenor) was the chief speaker. Kikon spoke extensively on a range of core subjects on the occasion, including the significance of this historic Republic Day occasion, the struggles and sacrifices by leaders of the past, and the importance of our Constitution of India. For the national pledge, Jemsungba Walling (NSS Programme Officer) conducted the ceremony. Dr. RK Behera (Principal) hoisted the national flag. The national anthem was sung after it.
