Dimapur, December 19: DIG (Ops) Kohima, Sarbjit Singh inaugurated the renovated Lotha Primary School (LPS) Diphupar on December 19.
The LPS Diphupar which was in a pathetic and dilapidated condition was renovated under the civic action programme 2018 under the aegis of Inspector General CRPF Manipur and Nagaland, and initiated by the 173rd CRPF Battalion.
Addressing the gathering, Sarbjit Singh said that CRPF carries out civic action programme across the country with an aim to make the public happy and to make them repose faith on the CRPF.
On the occasion he congratulated the commandant 173 BN, Joseph Keishing for carrying out various civic action programme in a systematic manner. Singh assured the Lotha community for meeting their requirements even in future and encouraged the gathering saying “CRPF is also with you.”
Joseph Keising in his address reiterated that CRPF serves the entire country by amalgamating with the public with an aim to help them. He expressed happiness for being able to render services to the Lotha community Diphupar by renovating the school in a small way, with the blessings of the DIG. With limited fund the school has been given a new facelift by plastering the wall, electrification, floor tiling, ceiling and new doors and windows, he said.
