Relocation exercise of stranded people continue in state

Dimapur, May 12: On May 12, the transportation exercise altogether 22 buses carrying 560 stranded persons departed from Kohima to various districts in the State. Out of the 22 buses 13 buses went to Tuensang, 3 buses to Noklak, 2 buses to Dimapur (Assam) and 4 buses to Kiphire.
The Kohima District Administration has so far facilitated the relocation of 4221 stranded people to their home districts and states in six days and has dispatched a total of 147 buses from Kohima to various districts and neighbouring States.
Kiphire:
Altogether 332 stranded people reached Kiphire on May 12 mostly stranded at Kohima and Dimapur. A total of 11 buses, 4 from Kohima with 118 passengers and 7 buses from Dimapur with 214 passengers reached Kiphire this morning. They were received at Helipad ground by the District Administration and police. Refreshment was also provided by the USBLA staffs and Kiphire Town Ao Baptist Arogo (KTABA).
Meanwhile, one bus service was arranged by the District Administration Kiphire for transporting 13 Stranded Pungro passengers who arrived from Dimapur to Kiphirein the morning. (Page News Service)
