Relief distributed to widows in Kiphire

Dimapur, August 8: Kiphire District administration and DDMA distributed rice to widows of 11 wards of Kiphire town in the Deputy Commissioner office conference hall in presence of respective ward chairman on August 8.
Sub Divisional Officer (C), Reny Wilfred, IAS handed over the rice as partial of immediate relief due to shortage of essential commodities in the district. The essential commodities were donated by the Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) and the 7th Assam Rifles Kiphire.
Meanwhile Kiphire District administration DDMA distributed rice as immediate relief received from NSDMA to different departments under Kiphire district on August 7. The departments included State Bank of India, Medical Department, Kiphire Town Council, GBs & Village Guard.
Extra Assistant Commissioner (HQ) Chenithung Ovung handed over the essential commodities to them in presence of District administration, doctors and nurses. (Page News Service)
