Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, MARCH 10: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has expressed hope that with Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) well in place now, all opposing forces will heed to the grievances of the aspirants and ensure no further impediments in the way of implementing the NSSB.
In a press release issued on Thursday, the Federation appealed to the State Government to rectify all lacunae in the NSSB policy through appropriate channels and at the right time while also not hindering or delaying the students and youth from being rightfully employed through an open, free and fair examination process.
It expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio “for having the political will to ensure that the aspirations of the Naga youth and student community is furthered by relaxing the age limit for entry into Government services by two years”.
The Federation assured its support in the implementation of the NSSB policy “as it is in the interest of the students and youth community in the State of Nagaland”.
“It is, therefore, appealed of the State Government to ensure that the process for recruitment to various posts falling within the purview of NSSB be initiated without further delay. Failure to do so, the Federation shall be compelled to take befitting actions in the interest of the deprived aspirants”, it stated.
