Dimapur, March 31: The Kohima District administration distributed relief ration to identified daily wage earners in the State capital at the relief camp set up at Kohima local ground on March 31. The ration included rice, dal, mustard oil and chilli powder.
The relief ration will be distributed regularly to all daily wage earners in Kohima including those that are from outside the State. The Kohima District administration however stated that the relief rations will be distributed only during the lockdown relaxation period on weekdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
All daily wagers, stranded travelers from other district and outside Nagaland may contact Control Room 0370 – 229 0028 and Kohima Relief Distribution Center – 6033833879 for any relief related issues.
Meanwhile in partial modification of the previous orders, the DC Kohima has issued order permitting vegetable vendors for vending at High School Junction, Pezielietsie (Tinpati, Razhü Point, TCP Gate and BOC junction).
The timing will be from 10 am to 2 pm only.
Social distancing should be followed, for which KMC and SDRF officials have been entrusted with the task of making necessary markings. Vendors should possess valid trade license issued by KMC and vendors should use masks, hand gloves and sanitizers at all times.
