Dimapur, February 5: Nagaland were 167/9 against Goa at stumps on Day-2 in their Ranji Trophy match at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, still trailing Goa by 151 runs.
Earlier the host bowled Goa out for 318 in the morning session but failed to capitalize as they keep losing wickets at regular interval to be precariously placed at 167/9 at the end of the day’s play.
For Nagaland, SS Mundhe top scored with 64 and Mughavi contributed 30.
For Goa, Amulya scaled 5 wickets.
Meanwhile Nagaland will take on Meghalaya at Golaghat on Thursday in the u-23 CK Nayudu trophy. Nagaland women u-23 team will also take on Chandigarh in the in the women u-23 trophy at Bhubanshwar on Thursday. (Page News Service)
