Ranji Trophy: Nagaland suffer innings & 195 runs loss


Dimapur, February 15: Pondicherry defeated Nagaland by an inning and 195 runs in the Ranji Trophy match played at SLIMS Cricket Ground, Puducherry.
Nagaland were bowled out for 254 in their 2nd innings, with Jonathan top scoring with 93. Nagaland were earlier bowled out for 176 in their first innings.
Pondicherry had declared their 1st innings at 625/8.
Col C K Nayudu Trophy
In the Col C K Nayudu Trophy at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Odisha needs 173 runs to win on Day-3 with all wickets intact again Nagaland.
Earlier on Day-2, Odisha first innings collapsed as they were bowled out for 138 in 56.5 overs in reply to the host first innings score of 193.
However coming out to field, Odisha bowlers kept put their team in the driver’s seat as they bowled out Nagaland for a paltry 127 in 47.3 overs.
At stumps on Day-2, Odisha were 10 without loss and needing 173 to win the match.
