Ranji Trophy: Nagaland bowls Arunachal out for 460

Dimapur, January 13: The Ranji Trophy (2019-20) match between Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh is heading for a draw unless something extraordinary happens on the final day on Tuesday at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima. At stumps on Day-3, Nagaland was leading by 84 runs, after bowling out Arunachal for 460 in its first inning.
After Nagaland declared their first inning at 534/7 on Day-2, Arunachal Pradesh batters keep pace with the score with Rahul leading from the front scoring a double century (267) and Akhilesh contributing 67 in the visitor’s 460 score.
For Nagaland, Imliwati took 5 wickets and first inning centurion SS Mundhe took 4 Arunachal wickets.
At the end of the penultimate day’s play, Nagaland was 10 without loss in its second innings.
Col C K Nayudu Trophy
In the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (2019-20) match between Nagaland and Pondicherry, Pondicherry was leading by 118 runs at stumps on Day-1 at the Golaghat DSA Ground after bowling out Nagaland for 145 in 40.2 overs in the first inning.
For Nagaland, Imlikaba top scored with 23 runs, while for Pondicherry, Sidak Singh claimed 6 wickets and Satish Jangir took 4.
Coming out to bat, Pondicherry was at 263/4 in 54 overs at the end of the day’s play with Paras scoring a century (126) and Akash making 45. For Nagaland, Akavi took 3 wickets.
