Ranji Trophy: Nagaland bowled out for 176


Dimapur, February 12: Nagaland were bowled out for 176 in 62.3 overs against Pondicherry in the first inning of the Ranji Trophy match at SLIMS Cricket Ground, Puducherry on Wednesday. At stumps on Day-1, Pondicherry were 92/2 in 27 overs, trailing Nagaland by 84 runs but with 9 wickets still intact.
Electing to bat after winning the toss, Nagaland kept on losing wickets at regular intervals with only Stuart Binny offering some resistance in his score of 59. Imliwati contributed 39 to the team’s total.
For Pondicherry, Sagar V Trivedi and Sagar P Udeshi took 3 wickets each.
Coming out to bat, Pondicherry were 92/2 at the end of days play. The two wickets to fall were taken by SS Mundhe and Imliwati. (Page News Service)
