Dimapur, December 27: Nagaland were 71/3 on Day-3 of the Ranji Trophy (2019-20) match against Sikkim at KIIT Cricket Stadium, Bhubaneshwar when bad light stopped play. With Sikkim scoring 269 in its first inning, Nagaland trails by 198 runs in the 4-day match.
Earlier electing to field after winning the toss, Nagaland bowled out Sikkim for 269, with SS Mundhe, Imliwati, Nagaho and Tahmeed taking 2 wickets each.
For Sikkim, Iqbal Abdulla top scored with 94.
When bad light stopped play, Nagaland were 71/3 in 21 overs.
Cooch Behar Trophy
In the Cooch Behar Trophy (2019-20) against Sikkim played at Golaghat DSA Ground, Nagaland scored 324 in its first inning today with Vedansh scoring a fine century (124), who was well supported by Hem (51) and Rahul (45).
For Sikkim, Rahul Kumar took 4 wickets and Anwesh scalped 3 wickets.
Coming out to bat, Sikkim were placed precariously at 21/2 in 14 overs, trailing Nagaland by 303 runs.
Col C K Nayudu Trophy
Meanwhile only 34 overs were possible in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (2019-20) match between Nagaland and Chandigarh here at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima.
Put in to bat after losing the toss, Chandigarh were 102/4 when bad light stopped play, with Amrit Lal Lubana top scoring with 36.
