R-Day Kohima traffic regulation

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 23: In view of the 72nd Republic Day celebration at the Secretariat Plaza in Kohima on January 26, Kohima Police has announced the following traffic regulations as part of security arrangement:

  1. Only vehicles with car pass ‘A’ (Red) and car pass ‘B’ (Blue) will be allowed entry to the Secretariat Plaza. Vehicles with car pass ‘C’ (Green) will drop their respective officers at the main gate and shall be parked outside the Secretariat Complex.
  2. Vehicles without car passes will not be allowed to enter the Secretariat Complex and shall be parked along the Assembly Secretariat road.
  3. No vehicles, including two-wheelers, will be allowed to park by the roadside on January 26 from 6 am o at the following routes till the programme is over:
    (a) From Raj Bhavan-TCP Gate-Razhu Point-High School-New Secretariat Complex.
    (b) New CM official Residence, Phezoucha to New Secretariat Complex.
  4. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town till the programme is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 7am.
    The Kohima Police has warned that it will tow away the defaulting vehicles and charges will be borne by the vehicle owners. (Page News Service)
