Dimapur, December 3: PWD Minister, Tongpang Ozukum visited Zunheboto on November 30 and inspected various developmental works in Zunheboto town including Zunheboto Government College road, Alahuto road, Nito Mount road, new colony road, project west road and district hospital road.
Interacting with the staff of PWD office Zunheboto, he said that PWD is one of the most important departments and road sector is a priority of the PDA government. He appealed to the staffs to work with dedication and also to the landowners of Zunheboto to cooperate with the government for development.
Chairing the interaction session, SE, Hozheto Shikhu requested the minister for construction of new Zunheboto PWD office building. NDPP Zunheboto president, Khehoshe H Yeptho and EE Tokavi Chishi also spoke on the occasion.
The Minister appreciated the workmanship of the works going on in Zunheboto stating that change will not come overnight but gradually.
Later the Minister visited Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto and held interactions with the church leaders. He congratulated the Sumi people for constructing a majestic church building.
The Minister was accompanied by SE, Hozheto Shikhu, EE, Tokavi Chishi, EE, Vikaho Zhimo, president NDPP Zunheboto Khehoshe H. Yeptho and party workers. (Page News Service)
